Wir suchen eine:n vielseitige:n React Native Software Engineer (d/m/w), der bzw. die die Lücke zwischen Frontend- und Backend-Entwicklung überbrücken kann. Du arbeitest an wichtigen digitalen Plattformen, die Nachrichten und Inhalte für Millionen von Leser:innen bereitstellen. Die ideale Person fühlt sich im gesamten Stack wohl und legt dabei besonderen Wert auf die Entwicklung hochwertiger, skalierbarer Lösungen für unsere Medienplattformen.

Das sind Deine Aufgaben:

  • Entwicklung und Wartung von Full-Stack-JavaScript- und React-Native-Anwendungen für unsere digitalen Medienplattformen
  • Umsetzung von UI-Designs in Zusammenarbeit mit UX/UI-Designerinnen und -Designern zur Sicherstellung einer hervorragenden User Experience
  • Aufbau und Optimierung serverseitiger Anwendungen und APIs für Inhaltsbereitstellung und -management
  • Arbeit mit Cloud-Infrastrukturen (AWS, Cloudflare) unter Verwendung von Infrastructure-as-Code-Prinzipien (Terraform)
  • Integration von KI-basierten Tools zur Verbesserung der Content-Erstellung und Leserbindung
  • Teilnahme an Code-Reviews und technischen Diskussionen zur Sicherstellung von Best Practices
  • Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Entwicklerinnen und Entwicklern zur Umsetzung neuer Features und Verbesserungen

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung
  • Nachweisliche Erfolge in der Entwicklung von Full-Stack‑Web- oder mobilen Anwendungen
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder eine vergleichbare praktische Qualifikation
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in JavaScript/TypeScript und entsprechenden Frameworks (React Native, Node.js usw.)
  • Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Wartung von REST/GRAPHQL-APIs und zugehörigen Services
  • Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, UI/UX-Designs in funktionale Webanwendungen umzusetzen
  • Solides Verständnis von Frontend-Technologien
  • Erfahrung mit Versionskontrollsystemen (Git) und CI/CD-Pipelines (GitHub)
  • Kenntnisse in SQL-Datenbanktechnologien

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen:

  • Erfahrung mit Cloud-Plattformen (AWS, Cloudflare) und Infrastrukturverwaltung
  • Kenntnisse von Infrastructure-as-Code-Tools, insbesondere Terraform
  • Vertrautheit mit KI-Integration und entsprechenden APIs
  • Erfahrung mit stark frequentierten Webanwendungen und Content-Management-Systemen
  • Verständnis von Technologietrends und Herausforderungen der Medienbranche
  • Erfahrung mit nahezu Echtzeit-Datenverarbeitung und Content-Delivery-Systemen

We are seeking a versatile React Native Software Engineer (d/f/m) who can bridge the gap between frontend and backend development. You'll be working on critical digital platforms that deliver news and content to millions of readers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the entire stack while having a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for our media platforms.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and maintain full-stack Javascript and React Native applications that power our digital media platforms
  • Implement UI designs in collaboration with UX/UI designers, ensuring excellent user experience for our readers
  • Build and optimize server-side applications and APIs for content delivery and management
  • Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Cloudflare) using Infrastructure as Code principles (Terraform)
  • Integrate AI-powered tools to enhance content creation and reader engagement
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure best practices
  • Collaborate with other developers to deliver features and improvements

Your Profile

  • You have at least 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Proven track record of delivering full-stack web or mobile applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in Javascript/TypeScript and frameworks (React Native and Node.js, etc.)
  • Experience building and maintaining REST/GRAPHQL APIs and necessary services
  • Demonstrated ability to translate UI/UX designs into functional web applications
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub)
  • Knowledge of SQL database technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Cloudflare) and infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
  • Familiarity with AI integration and related APIs
  • Experience with high-traffic web applications and content management systems
  • Understanding of media industry technology trends and challenges
  • Experience with almost real-time data processing and content delivery systems
